Who knows?

I don't know what made me think of it just now, but I am remembering the other time I was here at Halton -- the only other time, thank god. It was hot as [h...] that day, but Dory made me help her plant flowers and stuff in the front garden anyway. She had/has all kinds of people to do that sort of thing, but no, Dory had to do it herself so that it would be done right. And I had to help. So, after about an hour broiling in the sun, I just stopped, and she couldn't get me to get started again - ever. Tough luck for her!

Frustrated

I really expected some kind of response, any kind, to my posts. Anyone out there? I'm getting a little frustrated here, folks!

Friday

I almost forgot that I had to post today.  Dory says: that I have to write every day, even if I don't have anything interesting to say. It's something about "discipline" she says. I doubt remembering to post every day is going to do anything for me (and I'm not so sure I'm the "discipline" type) anyway.

I promised:

that I would post the fab free site where I just got that FREE fab picture of the mare & colt. Great res, right? It's called Geek Philosopher. Here's the address:

http://www.GeekPhilosopher.com/GeekPhilosopher.com/photos/photos.aspx

I hope you can just click on the address and get right there, but I'm still new at this blog stuff and not sure how to post a link.

I just checked, and the link is not direct. I promise to find out how soon, but knowing me, don't hold your breath.

TH PM

I finally figured out how to get rid of that ad that went along with the truly adorable pix of the horse & foal I posted...I probably won't be able to find anything half as cute FOR FREE!

Thursday

Kinda tired today. I've had a headache since yesterday, probably because it's supposed to rain, barometer dropping, all of that. I thought it wasn't supposed to rain in CA, or is that just L.A.? I miss the thunderstorms in Sarasota, not just the kind that pop up suddenly and last a couple of minutes (moving along with the cloud from block to block). The ones that last all night, huge raindrops slamming against the side of the house, shaking the screens, pounding on the roof. And the thunder, loud like bombs dropping, the percussion (?) bouncing off the class buildings and rolling down the trees.

I feel like it may be longer...

I think it was pretty good when my Mom emailed that she is really proud of me and how hard I am trying to get along with Dory -- I guess I'm warming up to her a little. "Skillful" is the exact quote. But it was not so good when Mom said that I probably have to stay longer than 2 weeks. I think I'm gonna try getting to the the Haight to hang around. Mom says it's pretty cool -- a zillion years ago of course.
